Description

This qualification is suitable for anyone:

  • who is involved in IT User as their primary work activity.
  • who is seeking a career in IT and wish to take the first steps towards a professional qualification
  • who wish to receive recognition for their IT experience.

 The qualification will take about 6 - 9 months to achieve. You will receive a workplace visit from a Rewards Assessor on a regular basis to support you.

The benefits of NVQ include: -

  • ITQ lets you show your current employer – and any future employer – that you have reached a recognised, national standard in IT
  • ITQ helps you to improve your IT skills and use IT more effectively in your job
  • ITQ lets you fill any IT skills gaps you have quickly and easily while you work
  • ITQ is flexible. You choose which skills you need to develop to help you in your own particular job and then follow a tailor-made programme that meets your  needs
  • Your own workplace experience and any previous IT qualifications you have can count towards an ITQ award
